AUTOMATE YOUR RELATIVITY DATA LIFECYCLE

GJ Dossier

Elevate your Relativity experience! Streamline data management and optimize ROI.

Put an end to reactive cleanups, storage overruns, and wasted time.

GJ Dossier automates every stage of the Relativity data lifecycle so your team can stop chasing case data and start managing it strategically.

0 +

Relativity workspaces being actively monitored.

0 TB

21 terabytes of data moved across lifecycle stages.

0 s

Thousands of lifecycle actions, successfully executed.

100

Zero bottlenecks. Zero hassle, zero issues, zero downtime.

The data lifecycle was never meant to be manually managed.

Relativity admins are stuck doing work that software should be handling:
  • Reviewing usage and activity reports manually
  • Guessing which Matters are ready for Cold Storage or Archive
  • Sending follow-up emails, coordinating approvals, and executing transitions manually
  • Overpaying for storage that should’ve been retired months ago

All while trying to stay compliant with retention policies, stakeholder expectations, and Relativity’s complex storage tiers.

Intelligent data management.
Built by industry experts.
Powered by CaseFlow.

GJ Dossier is powered by CaseFlow, the intelligent data lifecycle engine co-developed by GeorgeJon and NSerio. It reflects 15+ years of experience working with legal, eDiscovery, and litigation support teams.

We know the data lifecycle is complicated. That’s why we’ve made it automated, trackable, and repeatable — so your admins can scale, not scramble.

What’s coming next? Real-time reports and actionable insights — available the day you install.

Move data with confidence. Unleash your team. Protect your bottom line.

When you automate data lifecycle actions with GJ Dossier, you:

Prevent overages: move data to the right tier at the right time.

Eliminate hours of repetitive admin work.

Improve compliance with client-specific retention policies.

Ensure nothing gets missed, misplaced, or left behind.

Stop cleaning up workspaces. Transform the way your team manages Relativity.

Category Functionality Details
Enhancement Configuration Archive Configuration can now support Relativity archive locations in excess of 255 characters.
Category Functionality Details
Defect Agents Fixed an issue where the Orchestration process could encounter SQL Deadlock errors in environments with extremely high Workspace counts.
Category Functionality Details
Enhancement Configuration When making changes to the enabled or disabled status of GJ Dossier actions, the system now validates previous action dates to ensure actions that were already completed are not erroneously repeated. For example, when enabling the Delete action in an existing configuration, a new ARM archive will not be taken for a given workspace if that workspace has remained inactive since the time the previous Archive was taken.
Enhancement Reporting Improved the logic for forecasting Delete dates for a Workspace which still has an Archive action in progress when its inactivity timeline reaches the configured threshold for a Delete action.
Defect ARM Restore The ARM Restore UI will no longer incorrectly display duplicate listings of ARM Archives found in the selected external storage location.
Defect Actions on Demand Fixed an issue where an Archive Action on Demand would fail in scenarios where Copy to External Storage was disabled.
Defect Architecture The Workspace dedicated to GJ Dossier is now protected from GJ Dossier actions, meaning the application can no longer potentially archive or delete its own Workspace.
Category Functionality Details
New Feature Configuration GJ Dossier now utilizes a Relativity Workspace for data storage and tracking purposes, which allows for improved performance through standard Relativity database optimization best practices.

**To ensure migration to the Workspace database is completed correctly, please contact help@georgejon.com for assistance upgrading to GJ Dossier v2024.04 or higher**
New Feature Reporting A new set of "Summary Tiles" have been added to the Forecasted Actions report which summarize the number of Workspaces and total file size in your environment for different periods of inactivity (>=30, 90, and 180 days). Clicking on any of these tiles will automatically filter the report to display forecasted actions for workspaces which fall into the selected bucket.
New Feature External Storage Configuration Azure SAS key confirguation for external storage has been converted to an RDO ("GJ Dossier External Storage") to simplify creation and updates of SAS key(s). Once a GJ Dossier External Storage profile is saved, it can then be selected as a drop-down option on the Configuration and Actions on Demand tabs when configuring GJ Dossier actions, rather than having to be input SAS key details manually.
New Feature External Storage Configuration GJ Dossier External Storage profiles will now display the expiration date of the provided Azure SAS key, with an option to notify desired recipients when the key is nearing its expiry date.
Enhancement Configuration New options have been added to the Client and Matter configuration screens to re-inheret configuration from their parent object (back to Client for Matter level and back to Default for Client level).

Note for RelativityOne users: Relativity recently added a new ARM configuration option for “Corrupted Analytics Indexes Behavior,” which is not yet included in GJ Dossier and will be added in the next quarterly release.
New Feature Reporting GeorgeJon admins may now reset the inactivity timeline of a Workspace to delay actions from occurring, if desired. This option is available as a new "refresh" icon on the far left of the Forecasted Actions report. Admins will be prompted to confirm the decision when clicking this icon for a given workspace, and providing confirmation will set Inactivity Days for that workspace back to 0.
New Feature Configuration User Exclusions are now configurable at the Client and Matter level, as well as globally. Exclusions can now be configured directly from the Configuration interface without the need to modify a Relativity instance settings value.

Enhancement Reporting The Forecasted Actions tab will now provide additional clarity to the scheduled date of upcoming Delete actions. A message below the Action Date will denote that the date/time displayed is contingent upon a previous Archive action completing (if applicable). In scenarios where an ongoing Archive action takes more than 24 hours, such as in very large workspaces, the forecasted Delete date will continue to refresh each day until the Archive has fully completed.
Enhancement Reporting The Forecasted Actions report no longer has a hard limit of 30 days and will now display the next forecasted action for all monitored workspaces, regardless of how far in the future they may be scheduled.

Defect Reporting The "Last Activity Date" and "Inactivity Days" columns in various reports will now accurately reflect the last date and time the Workspace had user activity, regardless of whether any previous GJ Dossier actions had been completed since that point.
Defect Reporting Sorting on the “Inactivity Days” column on the Historical Actions report will now correctly display sorted results rather than clearing the report.
Category Functionality Details
New Feature Reporting Added "Historical Actions," which displays full audit history of all GJ Dossier actions executed by both automation and Actions on Demand. History will only populate for actions completed following the installation of v1.10.0.61.
New Feature Reporting Added "Processes Running" tab, which displays all GJ Dossier actions that are actively in progress. Note that this tab will typically only display Archive actions due to the fact that Repository, Cold Storage, and Delete complete very quickly.

Enhancement Reporting Dashboard data can now be manually refreshed on demand (default refresh is every 24 hours).
Enhancement Delete Added logic to warn users that a Delete action may not be scheduled less than 30 days after a Cold Storage action in RelativityOne.
Enhancement Reporting Updated the logic by which total data size for each Action type is presented on the Dashboard to ensure consistency with how Relativity calculates them. Please refer to the GJ Dossier User Guide for additional details.
Defect Archive GJ Dossier will no longer remove a Workspace from Cold Storage before executing an Archive action in RelativityOne.
Defect Licensing GJ Dossier will no longer incorrectly state that a license key is invalid after it has been successfully applied.
Category Functionality Details

New Feature Actions on Demand Added the Status column from Relativity's Workspace object to the list of filterable columns displayed in the Workspace picker for Actions On Demand.
Enhancement Configuration Improved load time of the Configuration tab.
Category Functionality Details
Enhancement Notifications Updated all action scheduling to be solely based on Last Activity Date rather than Last Activity Date & Time. This avoids scenarios where Upcoming Action email notifications can misrepresent the number of days remaining before the action executes due to being near the end of the 24-hour day.
Performance Configuration Significantly improved load times on the Configuration tab when the environment has a large number of Clients and Matters.
Defect Notifications Improved the logic of Upcoming Action email notifications for Workspaces that have already been inactive for a period of time when GJ Dossier is initially installed.
Defect Delete GJ Dossier will no longer complete a scheduled Delete action for a given Workspace if a previously scheduled Archive action fails.
