FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE // Chicago, IL – May 6, 2025
GeorgeJon has announced the release of GJ Dossier V2025.2.1.0, the latest enhancement to its flagship data management solution built for Relativity environments. This release introduces critical updates to notifications, licensing, and archive restore functionality, empowering users to operate with greater control, compliance, and speed.
Addressing the Real-World Challenges of Data Management
Relativity administrators face increasing pressure to manage large volumes of data efficiently, maintain security, and meet compliance standards — all while avoiding delays and human error. The latest GJ Dossier release directly addresses three key pain points:
- Your notifications go to the wrong people
- Your solutions need to comply with government requirements
- And restoring data from Azure? Way too slow
And these aren’t just annoyances. They’re risks — to budgets, timelines, and compliance.
New in Version 2025.2.1.0
Targeted Workspace Notifications
System notifications will now only be sent to users whose email domains match specified parameters and who have direct access to the relevant Workspace. This reduces accidental exposure of workspace data and ensures that communications remain relevant and secure. Admins can still manually include individuals who lack access, providing the flexibility needed in more complex scenarios.
FIPS-Compliant Licensing for Government Instances
GJ Dossier is now fully FIPS compliant, expanding its usability in government and public-sector environments. Relativity providers and organizations hosting dedicated government instances can now leverage Dossier to meet stringent compliance requirements without sacrificing functionality or efficiency.
Faster ARM Restore Performance
File transfer speeds during the ARM restore process — particularly from external Azure storage back to local Relativity instances — have been significantly improved. This enhancement minimizes delays and improves system responsiveness during critical data recovery operations.
Built for Today, Ready for Tomorrow
GJ Dossier continues to evolve as a proactive, intelligent data management solution built in collaboration with Relativity users and legal technology experts. Previous updates introduced intuitive reporting dashboards, auto-classification of inactive workspaces, cloud-to-cloud archiving, and email-triggered tasks, all designed to reduce admin time and eliminate unnecessary storage costs.
“With every release, we’re solving the real problems Relativity admins face every day,” says Ryan Merholz, Vice President of Technical Services at GeorgeJon. “This update reflects our continued commitment to improving usability, security, and performance, especially for teams operating in high-stakes, high-compliance environments.”
